I, Gloria Poole, drew this onto 8 x 11 tinted cardstock with markers one night when I couldn't sleep and I was inspired by the wrought iron scrollwork on my bed headboard! I was restless mentally but physically exhausted so didn't want to get up. So, I keep some dry media close to my bed so I can draw at those times. It has no particular meaning. I was trying to follow the lines of the wrought iron scrolling line across top of headboard. I didn't quite achieve the perfection of the company that made my bed! After I had head injuries from trauma, and at same time exhausted, I sometimes have trouble following a pattern with my eyes, or my hands. I have balance problems and eye:hand lack of coordination at times. I am trying very much to OVERCOME those problems by creating art often. And I just saw in the preview that photographed it upside down! I was tired! Most people experience exhaustion but people with concussions or head injuries experience it differently--they have a sort of referee-call-time-out-of-brain moment when really exhausted!

This is my selfie [Gloria Poole,RN, artist] in spring 2014 but I look the same except that I am thinner and my hair is longer but I still put it in lop-sided pony tail when I walk about or create art to prevent hair from blowing into my eyes or into paint.That is also me that you see in the "about me" box on right side of this blog and I am wearing a dark grey winter wool hat because that photo was taken of me in state of Georgia in Jan 2010 and my family in Georgia saw me wearing that hat and so did other people. So I am leaving that photo also on this blog for that reason.
