I think this is the 14th sketch I have drawn and painted of a peacock. I have been trying to paint a majestic peacock just right for years. I saw a real peacock when I visited Scotland and I was totally fascinated by it. So, I have created peacocks with a lot of art mediums [paints, pens, etc] and including with a graphics program. I tried a new technique today of first putting inktense all over my drawing of the peacock in 2 different shades. Then I painted over it with acrylic in places. Then I sprinkled a smattering of glitter glue in a bold sparkly blue on the "tail feathers".This is on 8 x 11 paper and I made it, signed it, photographed it, uploaded it and posted it as is true of all art on this blog and any blog or site of mine.
